Poll: When should WCS move on to CS:S?

i say as soon as HL2 hits the shelves. when that happens they will release the different skins and other maps for cs:s. but we HAVE to move to the new cs. it is so much better.

Well we might experiment with a second testserver on the wcs box. As soon I get in touch with MD ill have a chat about it.

Would that be a good idea? I mean I'm playing right now and everyone's ping is above 80. I don't think WCS can handle 2 servers at once.

Ping is also based on distance, and the reg cs daemon(application) is a POS, hl2's engine may work better on linux than quakes engine.(Cs and Hl are based on quake 1's engine)

would it be possible to have 2 servers? i like hook mod and i wanna play cs:s with the wroaw peoples, but i would miss hook.
if we have to choose just one server, i say stick with CS for awhile. we can switch to CS:S a little while later. 1 week doesn't seem to be enough time
or we could keep up the CS version of WCS until the end of the year and then switch over completely to CS:S. i prefer that one because it gives people a chance to get CS:S and all necissary stuff for christmas.
the last option means we would have 2 servers for about 2 months.

my server returns soon, i was originally gonna host a different game then cs, but ill see what i can do, it most likely* wont be a wroaw server but it will be a sniperduck server, so i guess its somewhat still a wroaw server, all wroaws will be aloud on it some would have admin still but it may cause difficulties and such, but i cant really say much because my server isnt at my house anymore so....yep only time will tell for that

Well CPU and Memory are the main indcation for me whether its capable to handle the stuff or not. I will surely keep an eye, dont worry Dumez;)
