so you combine for one project price it reasonably make a fortune on it then go back and the two companies duke it out making better versions of the uberproduct... of course this is my fantasy

BFG 6800 ultra, for the win experiance

(plus lets face it, nvidia are winning, with there PCI-E cards that can do SLI , SO i can have 2 red hot cards in same pc:D

2 X 512meg Geforce 6800 ultras in sli ? beats a X800 anyday:D

Don't forget it only costs about 4x as much as an x800 going that route also.
