Yeah but one of sticks would be hindered by the fact that the OS would only recognize 3gb of it. Pretty much you'd get better results with 2x1gb and 2x512mb to hit 3gb for the 32bit.

ok how do i figure out what xx-bit windows i'm using?

i put 2 corsair sticks of 2gb each in my comp. ive only got 32bit windows so only 3.2 of it was recognized. i only got the four because there was a deal and it was cheaper for the 4 than two on newegg
