Looks like i have more funds than i thought, since i'm selling my laptop that i never use.

For $1,500ish (give or take a hundred or so), build me the best gaming PC! I'm looking to be able to run WAR well, as well as Fallout 3 when it comes out next month. I just have no idea what goes well with what...

I guess I need:
Motherboard
Processor
Hard drive (I'm guessing i'll need more space, just have an 80gig right now)
Video Card
RAM
DVD RW would be nice I suppose but not necesssary (I have a DVD drive and a CD RW)
Sound Card not really that important, I can just use the one in my current PC
New Power Supply? I think the one I have is 600w, just bought it... not sure how good that is.
And to make sure it all fits, might as well get a new tower/fans/etc.
And whatever else you deem necessary.

I don't really need a mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc...

So put on your thinking caps and GO!

I'll think of a reward for the winner later. Perhaps fellatio.

EDIT: it doesn't have to look badass with a window and led lights everywhere, no one will see it, and frankly i don't give a damn what it looks like. Any plain tower will do fine.
well i'd go with an intel quad core a 9800 pretty decent mobo and 4 gigs of ram. ill look it up later with links, fellatio sounds like proper rewards:D
What company made your PSU? If you're going to go near-high end stuff, I think 600w might be a bit conservative considering what you're going for.
is DDR3 a big step up from DDR2? And will both work interchangibly with the same mobo's?

It is, but they arent interchangeable. Obviously one is faster than the other, its just that ddr3 is new-ish and many mobos dont support it yet

Good? Bad? You tell me!
that all looks pretty solid, might want to get a better heatsink for your proc though (other than the one that comes with it, cheap upgrade like 20 bux)
