I actually learned on my own. Most of it is just common sense. You can also learn from looking inside your PC if you have the time or just occasionally browsing Newegg and such.

But, I never knew about the special screws for motherboard mounting. >.>

haha yeah, i never knew about them either when i was building my first computer. luckily my tech-smart friend was helping me do it.

the mobo is mounted in the case not laying directly flat on the case, but on screws that act as legs for the mobo, so its not in contact with the case.

makes sense but i wouldnt have even thought of that if i didnt know that.

Yeah, they're the weird, copper-colored octagonal-esque onces that, once screwed into the holes on the mobo panel, have some extra bulk sticking up that you need to align with the holes on the mobo.
i figured it out on my own :/ they send them with the mobo and theres instructions. doesnt take a rcoket scientist.
