Do you know for sure you're getting a prosthetic? How soon?
Not for a while, have to wait for my skin grafts to heal and get thick on my stump (skin was taken from my good leg). Also for more info, my lungs collapsed as well and i had chest tubes. For that reason I'm not allowed to fly home for Christmas:(
And wombeh i've been getting visitors constantly, but fair warning while i'm in rehab you can just stare at me as i lay in bed between therapies. It would be pretty boring.

I was told I'll just be here for 3-4 weeks, 6 at the max... after that i'll still have out-patient therapy, but i'm not sure if I'm gonna stay here in SD or go back to PA... right now I'm leaning towards staying here at my house. The weather's a bit nicer.
That's good you won't be in there for much more than 3-4 weeks.
I agree....the weather has to be better in SD than PA. I'd rather be in SD right now....it snowed like 5 inches yesterday and I hate driving to work in this shit...
Anyway, I'm glad you're staying upbeat through all this man....if it were me I don't know how I'd handle it. Keep me updated on what's going on.
