PS3 is a gaming system that's powerful but has too few games to bother purchasing.

360 is a gaming system with a ton of good games that can't be played as well as they can on a computer.

Computer is the "gaming system" where one can play FPS well (more or less every game that comes out on Xbox would belong better on a computer), along with having other uses for those of us who (omfg?) do something besides game.
true dat, but the problem is you have to buy a new $1000 computer every year to be able to profit from that benefit, with the purchase of a console (half the expense of one computer) you're done for the next 4-5 years.

but yea, computer > console, because there is no such thing as a modding/ mapping community for console games.
$1000/year? I'm using a $550-600 computer I built myself 3.5 years ago.

Still more than a console, unless you buy multiple current-generation when they come out.

Another thing is, I'm not sure if I'm in the minority on this but I don't buy a lot of computer games. Everyone I know with a console buys a lot of those $50-70 console games. That price adds up pretty quick.
yeah, for some reason computer games seem to hold a lot more replay-ability than console games

I usually play a PC game and never touch it again if it's not online. I don't know what you're talking about. Then again, I rarely replay games.:(

iono for some reason i never really got into oblivion, or most RPGs for that matter. i started a bunch and would play it for a day, then just never go back for some reason. recently i did finally play KOTOR though, which was pretty damn fun. took me a day or two to beat it and it was great, i even considered replaying through it for the dark side but i couldnt have been bothered xD. i am considering kotor 2 tho.

i think for oblivion i just dont like the combat for some reason. i dunno y. i also dont like the oblivion towers. and i kind of dont like how every enemy scales in difficulty to ur lvl. itd be so awesome to be super powerful and just rampage thru some squishies or something.

you can't? lol :/ wondering what it was what I was doing than, seemed to get pretty close to rampaging:P

there are only 3 (single player) games I played again after I completed it: FF7(didn't finish it the 2nd time tho) , HL and Halo (together with a friend I did a complete run in co-op), that's it.

ok, perhaps $1000 is a bit much for a new comp, especially in the US, but still, you need to upgrade if you want to be playing the newest games.
