» The header image has been based on a 3DSMax render for a pretty long time. The image has been blurred, resized, warped and recoloured since then.

» WCS ran on a connection with a 128 Kbit (16KB) upload. The popular maps at that time were cs_backalley and de_piranesi. At that time, it already had the precessor of Roll The Dice for AdminMod.

» IRC hasn't always been as popular in the clan; the communication "link"was WCS and Steam Friends when Steam was released.

» Wroaw's previous URL was wroaw.now.nu

» The formula (Nipper maps, hook, dice) of WCS has been imitated by several other CS servers out there. (Most close: RAW)

» A lot of people from our clan are from the "J2" (joe.to) community. This community hosted the official Nipper map server. J2 was the cornerstone of WCS and even the clanbase.

» WCS has been ranked the #3 most popular Counter-Strike server for a few months.

» One of the WCS servers had missiles as weapons. This led to some crazy scenerios on megacrazycar.

» "Ledge slapping" was a common punish to those who "camped" with an AWP in the map climb.

» Another popular punishment was "MonsterMod"; this modification threw Half-Life 1 characters into Counter-Strike, ergo scaring the hell out of a victim.

» WCS also stands for Wroaw Clan Server, but has been replaced by Wroaw Community Server because it sounds more elegant.

» The 'lost CAT' is KillerKat, which resigned from playing CS.

» Minidisk is the first CAT that is not from The Netherlands nor from Rotterdam.

» Wroaw had some intense fights; at one point some clan members even formed their own clan called "AfN" which stands for "All for Nothing".

» Wroaw can be seen as an equivalent to Rawr

» Wroaw is pronounced like (w)raw and not row

» The Wroaw Orb logo was introduced at january 2004. Before this time, the logo was simply two "orange slashes".
The Microsoft team did an homage to Wroaw by making the new Windows Vista logo a blue orb.

» "Check mail" has been in the header since 2004 but never worked until August 5th 2006, when "Wroaw Mail" was introduced.

» The website hosts Wroaw had througout the years had their crashes and downtimes. About 2 times the forum has been totally emptied, requiring all members to repopulate the forums.
Rest assured; today the website is hosted by a professional, paid host and the risk that something similar will occur is very small.

» The credo of the clan has always been "having a good time" from day one. Today this credo still stands, though scrimming (battling) has become a lot more popular.

» The forum has been hacked once by cocacolakid. He used a SQL injection to change the member subtitles and extracted some MD5 hashes.

» The aforementioned individual is rumoured to have a "tiny" reproductive organ by several clanmembers.

» The name DutchTiger (later: SirTiger) is based on a lazy beige pet cat.
» The name KillerKat is (supposedly) based on a European chocolate snack called KitKat. (Kat means cat in Dutch)
» The name Schietluis means rougly translated "shootlouse"
» The name DrunkenMaster is based on the movie "Drunken Master" with martial arts master Jackie Chan
» The name Minidisk is based on the music medium developed by Sony.

Corrections and additions are more than welcome. In Wikipedia terminology this post would be called a stub :>
this is incredible... it would be cool if we could get bios of the guys and stuff too... make a wroawiki of sorts;)
This should be pinned, or from what I see, you're planning to put it in the "Info" button?

I always hated steam friends, I was one of the only ones to never use it. We always met in WCS though and we decided what to do from WCS.:P

From what I know of, only dux is from j2. We've had old members go to j2, but I don't know of any but dux who came from j2.

I remember this time, we had more activity then the bot servers in the top 20 or whatever number it was. We'd have people playing day and night, always 26+. It sucked because we had no reserved slots.:P

Awesome times, missiles were so hilarious at times, especially on our smaller maps.

LEOLOLEOL! Kinda hard to see cause it's small, but I never noticed Dum3z when his name was like that.

Who remembers the hypernia ad and it's moving joystick!
Gotta love the hypernia ad with the joystick...oh and the good ol days of dum3z back when he was in POB.

The Wroaw Fact that I would like to add:

For pretty much everyone in Wroaw (there are a few exceptions) I would literally take a bullet for. You guys have been there for me for years. I have been an active member for a long time. The only time I haven't been active was when I was with Werewolf. I disappeared for awhile, and for that, I want to apologize. I left you guys because my ex was tired of me being online all the time. I let down my true friends for a girl that was not worth it. To that point, I have to say this as well. Jess, I'm sorry for being a shitty friend for awhile. I stopped talking to you too, mostly because you voiced something that was correct. Now in my defense, I didn't know it at the time...but you were right. Never again will I let a girl come between you and I...or Wroaw and I. You guys have truly become family to me. Wroaw is no longer a clan. Wroaw is no longer a group of guys on the internet (and a few girls). Wroaw has become my family. You guys have been there to offer advice. You guys have cheered me up when I was down. You guys have knocked sense into me when it was deemed necessary. Some people view it as sad that I have more online friends than I do in real life. I see nothing wrong with it. You guys are better friends than pretty much everyone I've known in real life. All of us are part of something special...I know that we're somehow going to keep in touch for a long, long time. You guys have always been there...and I will always be here for you. Thank you

oh and </end long ass post>
My name from back when I owned at CS!:D...Now I suck, maybe even worse than Biggs now. :o
