New consoles for the future

PS3 is running with seven cores at 3.2GHz.
Xbox 360 is running with three cores at 3.2GHz.

PS3 will have two 700MHz 256MB sticks of RAM.
Xbox 360 will have 512MB or more.

Both support Dolby surround sound 5.1.

PS3 will have six USB ports.
Xbox 360 will have three.

PS3 will have an odd number of seven wireless controllers with Bluetooth.
Xbox 360 will have four wireless controllers with Bluetooth.

Both will have wireless adapters.

Both will support widescreen and HDTV.

Xbox 360 comes with a detachable 20GB hard drive.
PS3's hard drive will need to be bought when you get your PS3.

PS3 will support the PSP.
Xbox will support the PSP, iPod, Window's XP based computers, digital cameras, and more.

Xbox 360 seems more like an entertainment center while the PS3 has a lot of raw power. I'm still sticking with the Xbox 360 because most of the power that the PS3 has won't be used, Xbox 360 will be releasing Halo 3 (AKA the PS3 Killer) once PS3 is released, and I just dislike PS3.:P

but still they will only have 1 to 3 good games...then ps3 will have good games...RPGS RULES and the one who rules the rpg console WORLD IS PS!!!!!! Xbox is trying to steal the rpg world but with only Star wars and FABLE i dont think so...Xbox is good for ppl who wants sports games, racing car games and who loves live! In the end the WINNER will be PLAYSTATION! and REV and xbox will be trying to be 2nd. But we no all consoles will have a blue ray and wireless shit...xbox is trying to hard to make a computer out of a console while Rev is trying to have the best console while only have not that much good games.....WE will just dont know...And the people who makes games will still have 1 more year to use everything in Ps3 and more tech in the future....in the future they will dont need tv...and can use your whole body like what Rev is doing lol...;)

So like I said, stick with computers.:)

Computers = best RPGs/MMORPGs/first person games, though if there was one game that I'd prefer on consoles...it's super smash brothers.:D:D:D

Xbox 360 - The graphics on this dont seem to be a huge improvement from the orgiginal xbox. The graphics are great but they dont compare to ps3 at all. It also seems that its mostly sequels that will be launch titals.

Playstation 3 - These graphics are simply..amazing. Just look at the killzone 2 E3 demo. That is not even its greatest potential. The controller looks like shit though. I think it will be really uncomfortable.

Nintendo Revolution - Not much is know about this. All we really know is that it is a black box. The one thing about it is that you will be able to download games made for the NES - Gamecube. I think that is a really cool idea. That also saves me from buying a gamecube or n64. The real mystery is what their controller will look like. I have no idea how they are going to make it so it wont be weird when you are playing n64 or nes or others.


Thats my first impression from what I have seen from E3 on G4 tv. Its still very early and still any consoles game. I am going to buy all three in this order Xbox 360 (because it comes out first) PS3, then Nintendo Rev. (that actually is going to be the realease order anyways now that i think of it.)

Oh....PC still owns all.

how do you work out that the ps3 is going to have better graphics than the xbox?

consoles at this stage of the game, are more about the games than graphics, this time there seems to be a lot of intrest in what 'extras' you can do with the console, such as wireless internet ect (which all three have this in form or another:)

if i was going to buy one, currently the nintendo wins, simply because it looks better;)
