Sometimes my aim locks up and I die because I can't aim at them. It's like lag or something, except that my video's still running, just my movement (of the mouse) locks up. It never happens in CS.

Sometimes when you right click, while trying to pick something it freezes there and all you have to do is right click again, like you're trying to get out of the menu. But NS is a picky game, if your ping is above 100, you'll probably lag. (coughdwopplewithlaghaxcough)

I mean when I shoot, and I try to reaim because the kharaa move so darn fast, my window locks up so I can't aim for them. You can see how this puts me at a disadvantage.

So basically, you're trying to aim and shoot stuff that moves fast and do you actidentally jerk your mouse or something? That happens to me a lot. I don't really understand what happens to you.:o

like I move my mouse, but the screen doesn't move with my mouse. It just locks there. The fps is the same, it's just as if my mouse disconnected for a second. I can still shoot and move, just not move my sight around (which effectively compromises my aim).

I had problems too with the lag on tfc so I went into consol and typed rate 999999, so it got rid of the lag. I think I did the same thing for NS so you might want to try that.
