i've had the same 500w PSU for about 4 or 5 years and not a single problem with it, but i have no clue what brand it is either.

PSU opinions
Antec is a good brand. I have an old 230W around here somewhere that's like 6 years old, but works like a champ. They aren't the best though. Check out PC Power and Cooling. They've got the most stable rails, beefiest heatsinks, etc. You'll have a hard time finding a better PSU. Are they costly? Somewhat. You get what you pay for.

Mine is an Antec Smartpower 2.0 500 Watt

Got it at Best buy for Christmas. Works good and never a problem.

got the smartpower 2.0; 450 Watt here, blew already 2 of m. First time it was my fault, 2nd time it wasn't, it just started smoking :/
apart from that, it works very good for it's price and doesn't make a lot noise
