Suggestion for the answer to the great problem

My opinion is that it's not that serious. There's only a couple vehicle maps where a lot of vehicle tk's happen. Demolition_derby2 for example, tk'ing is to be expected. Air_fight2 and the green heli is another example. And not just that but I've seen countless noobs duck or hook onto vehicles and wind up getting tk'ed because of it, which was completely unintentional by the driver.

And lastly, we're a hook server... You could always just get the f- outta the way!

If there's someone who is excessively tk'ing then just get their name & steam ID and we'll keep an eye on him. If he's being a super-dick and won't stop then we'll deal with it accordingly. Vehicle tk punishment isn't a good idea because half the time it happens it's cuz of the dude who got killed doing something stupid. And it would make it easy for people to get tk'ed on purpose just to have someone be punished.

that really will only work for stupid tkers that havent learned yet that when you stop driving a vehicle and kill someone it doesnt count as a kill. at least i dont think it does. it would be pretty hard to make a script that would penalize the people who do that, but it would get rid of the stupid ones, if only for a little while.

I see your point about the fact that people could purposly (the one word i can't spell) get killed by a driver. But the way i see it is that if they don't know about the punishment rule, why would they do it? Maybe if you just don't tell the people... but i guess that anyone who looks at this forum would know...

And maybe it would be more appropriate to just raise the max before kicking to ten... I've never gotten a -5 score, but i've come close because 3 people were hooking to the side of a truck and died when i went around the corner... mind you, i wasn't moving at full speed!!!
