To hide the recycle bin:

open notepad, copy the following into it, and save this file as recycle.reg

After it is saved, double click on it and import it into your registry.
Now, open up my computer, go to tools, folder options. Click on the view tab, and scroll all the way down. It's the second to last checkbox, clear the checkbox and you no longer have a recycle bin on the desktop. B)

Meh....its the only program that can play some of my music files that apparently got corrupted and cannot be opened by WMP:(
