yall realize the debt wasnt completely from bush look at the deficit from the clinton administration, yeah the negative media coverage on the war lowers the economy, but it is coming back strong, gas prices have dropped over a buck...so all this shit can't be blamed on the bush administration, before you point fingers look at previous administrations that have fucked up

Actually the debt came from the huge amounts of spending starting with Roosevelt and it just kept building after that, particularly from Reagan. Bush may have increased it, but the debt increase isn't what makes a President bad (look at Roosevelt and Reagan).

Huge amounts of spending isn't what created the national debt. The majority of it came about when the US relinquished all WWII debts. If the economy would have been more stable at the time, the problem would have been greaty reduced. When you put your country into a depression for 10 years, enter a world war, and then release everyone who's indebted to us when it ends, that tends to create serious economical problems. At any rate, spending wasn't the problem... It was loaning vast amounts of resources out and then telling everyone they didn't have to pay any of it back because oops!
