Really? Im the only person that trusts a rich white guy over a rich black guy? come on people.
Didn't vote here, can't vote in the election, and I haven't been paying enough attention to really choose one or the other anyway.

im over 18, although as of now i dont plan to vote (i dont follow politics too closely). i am however, in favor of obama over mccain. tell me why i should choose mccain over obama and then choose to vote this year.
the defining characteristics of conservatism in america are, other than jesus, said to be small government, deregulation, laissez faire economics, privatization, invisible hand, etc. in other words, conservatives believe the government is ineffective and/or unable to solve the issues the country is facing. yet they still want to run the government. why? there are two possible conclusions.

1. they want to be in office to intentionally and treasonously make the government fail in a petty attempt to manufacture support for their own beliefs. essentially, there is a conflict of interests.

2. they don't actually believe their ideology can improve the nation and are simply interested in putting themselves in positions of power, using conservatism to convince irrational actors (a sizable chunk of americans) to vote against their own best interests.

which of those is better? i dont know.

think about it this way. say you are running a company and your hiring for a position that just opened up. unfortunately your company hasn't been doing so well lately, so the decision you make is critical. here are your choices:

person 1 is interested in the company, is a hard worker, and is confident that he can make it work.

person 2 thinks the company sucks. he doesn't think he can make the company work, so he just wants to sell off all its assetts, sit back, and do nothing. to top it off, he's good buddys with the guy who just got fired (who had some of the lowest performance evaluations ever) and thinks he did a fine job.

if i could vote THATS why id vote for b. hussian obama.

wtf no way. democrats are fucking socialists they want tot ake your money and spend it for you. know why most old people are conservative? because they have fucking money and dont wanna lose it to pay for welface for some hoes 5th fucking kid with daddy in jail not paying child support. democrats want your money because they think your too stupid to better the world yourself, democrats = poor dumb motherfuckers. as for hobbit.

First off, not voting is downright wrong, ever wonder why social security is a huge issue? Because old people vote the most per capita in every election. So their issues get looked at the closest because they are the ones politicians want to please. So not voting only promotes this problem which is why serious issues like internet regulations privacy acts and such things that are actually effecting people like us (not to mention school loans the dwindling job market education scores dropping every year), all of these are 2nd class issues because they involve younger people thus no votes. Sure say you get your local school an extra $1 million dollar computer science grant and get some new macs up in the school. How many people does that please? a few parents who probably wont vote and some kids who definately wont. Now you get the senior center a hot tub and god damn your numbers jump. So plz plz plz i beg you go vote, even if its a coin flip plz vote. Also even if you dont vote for federal offices (president) you vote for local elections such as mayor senators congress people that actually effect your local area. You are also voting on local questions, i dont know your location but in my area theres a property tax hike on the ballot this year along with some other things that i would like my opinion heard on.
<.< As I said, I -can't- vote.:P

Unless they came up with some way you can vote from online or something.
