i dont even know what to call myself. my grandparents are technically mainland chinese, moved to taiwan. My parents were raised in taiwan because of the cultural revolution crap, then came to america and became citizens. i was born in taiwan, lived in america till 8, moved to china and lived there till 16, then moved to new york and am here now. So technically my parents are american citizens, 2nd generation taiwanese, whos original heritage is chinese? something along those lines. When people ask me where im from i dont know what to answer. being a TCK and also an international student for a half of my life doesnt help much.
