Probably London right? Please dont make it Frankfurt/Milan/Paris.. Germans and French are annoying ingame:PAnd Milano is too far away:D

Well for servers in general Windows isn't quite popular indeed but VALVe ported parts of the Source engine to Linux causing overhead on the linux version of the server software. It also might have something to do with the fact the the VALVe founders are ex-MS guys :x

But in general, the common advice issued for running a HLDS/SourceDS server is Windows >2K, and since Windows 2000 doesn't have a 64-bit port we think X64 is a great choice. (Windows Server 2003 X64 would be overkill, considering we're not going to run a domainserver or anything)

The datacenter is located in London, forgot to mention that. It's goes through the LINX (London Internet Exchange). Here is a LINX IP that can be pinged: 195.66.224.196. (I cannot guarantee it resembles the exact ping to WCS but it won't differ too much)
