Better in my opinion. It has some low points, but the ending is just so epic. I'd say it's like Death Note mixed with Gundam Wing.

Hah... Anime is for hairy, sweaty zit-riddled geeks.. until you start checking some stuff out and realize it is better written than most sitcom garbage that is aired on TV :>

its on my to-watch list. too bad i don't watch anime nearly as much as i used to. i did have a small spree yesterday, where i caught up to naruto by means of youtube and wikipedia. i also watched 3 episodes of fairy tale, which is ehh generic.
