MSN DOES have better smilies, but I prefer AIM for one major reason: When you're in a game (especially one that's as demanding as Lineage II), and you have your away message on on MSN, it doesn't stop the window from popping up. In a game like that, even with my comptuer, it takes about 2 minutes to alt tab to desktop and back.

1 thing against aim: the huge memory leak, 20 mb :/ and i thought that msn's 5 mb was alot....
