Dont listen to him, hes in skewl right now.
9800 Pro is waaay outdated, if the release of some great games that are coming out using the doom 3 engine, and others such and battlefield2 and quake 4/cod 2:)get something a little higher spec, even the 6600's not a bad card, and has most the graphical features of its more expencive older brother teh 6800:)

oh and if your only playing 1.6 the TNT2 card will run it fine ;p
Cant wait for quake 4, going to be Caramacs last game though.
360 USD is my limit for the graphics card

My motherboard won't have a PCI-E slot, and I'm going to play HL2 and CS:S:)

The PCI-E slot screws you. I think the 6600 and 6800 are both AGP, though, and I showed you that Radeon x700 256MB that was also AGP.:P
Womb, you moron. I was at home when I did that.

You lose again.
well as long as you dont but a "special" or "light edition" card because those are screwovers.. they take off valuable specs of the card.... example radeon 9500 > radeon 9600 SE

and for your budget .. thats a hefty card D: id also say 6600/6800 or a x700

personally id tell you to go nvidia because i HAD problems with ati
Can you make your signature smaller? It's obnoxious.
