Hi guys. I would like to know how i can put a personalized spray in the game:Dif any of you could msn me sports_boy101@hotmail.com and guide me through it step by step i would realy appreciate it. Thanks
replace the old spray file with the new one? pretty obvious
I thought they disabled custom content for now....maybe its working again? Anyways, i'm not going to do a write up right now....go to counter-strike.net, click forums, and check there....if that doesn't produce results, try googling it.
Guys. You dont realize how lazy i am:D
1) Covert your spray to a .wad
2) Go into your cstrike folder and delete the files in bold.
custom.hpk, tempdecal.wad, and pldecal.wad
3) Insert your new spray into your cstrike folder
4) Name it tempdecal.wad
5) Right click it, go to Properties, and click the box that says Read-Only
6) Go ingame and spray away
i dont know much about computers so i cannot do the fuckery that u just said:P
Your kidding right? You don't even need to know jack shit about computers to do that.

Just find a .bmp/.jpg/.gif -> .wad converter on the internet somewhere.
haah, dont bother converting if your too lazy too:)thats my advice
This may be the lamest thread I've seen in our forums yet.

BTW Blix, pldecal.wad was only for 1.5 and lower. 1.6 uses only tempdecal.wad. You don't have to make it read-only either. The file doesn't get written over if you change to a stock spray. :)

Here's my spraylogo howto:

Step 1. Find a pic.
Step 2. Convert it to a .bmp with the software of your choosing.
Step 3. Use a program called "Wally" to create your tempdecal.wad file.
Step 4. Copy tempdecal.wad into your CStrike folder.
Step 5. Join a server and spray your corny logo all over the place.

I've got tons of spraylogos I've made. Quiznos, Michael Jackson, Dave Chapelle, Banana Phone, the purple teletubby, etc...
what does custom.hpk do?
