Everybody calls Voodoo, Voodoo....He's a DJ for a casino and several nightclubs, so thats what he goes by. The others, well...i copied and pasted this story from the local board of sport bike riders, so they might not know the guys by their name, but they would know the screen name.
The whole thing happened in the best possible way....besides maybe snapping in my parking lot when i first left or something. So that was good.
Yup, you definitely caught a break on that accident. I have a few friends who ride. Most of them just asking for something bad to happen from being irresponsible/reckless, and most of them having pretty major accidents because of it. One of them got into a real bad one -- didn't leave the hospital for close to a year! When all was said and done, he had most of his intestines removed, a destroyed anal track, several broken and shattered bones w/permanent metal rods, permanent colostomy bag, permanent limp, etc. Pretty bad shape, totally changed his life for the worse -- or the better I guess depending on how you look at it since he didn't die and is no longer able to ride a bike recklessly. He had a new baby daughter too and now will never be able to do things like play with her, take her rollerskating, bicycle, swim, you name it. He was actually suicidal for a while because of all this.
Anyways, didn't mean to tell a story but if you ride, PLEASE do it responsibly!!
