The majority of the worlds wealth has been acquired through real estate. Property that is, not houses, big difference!
So back to the question, $300 -- buy bonds. A million, invest in real estate and play the currency market. This is the time when millionaires & billionaires are made so if you know what you're doing, stocks is a great way to come up if you have time to wait.
