Better than here where you'd get paid like 800yen (7.80ish?) an hour and the cost of living is higher than in California.:P...For those foreigners who actually manage to get jobs, that is.
But hey, cost of living is cheaper here than Tokyo at least...it's only like $350/month for a 100-150sq foot apartment with electricity and water included free. In Tokyo it'd probably be $800 easily.
