[quote=Blizzard,Jul 19 2007, 12:30 AM][quote=Sveach,Jul 18 2007, 10:09 PM] I love Asus. The current desktop has a noname brand mobo, free from Newegg. Gotta love rebates:DIt works, but it doesnt do some things I like, such as SATA RAID, etc.
Laptop has
i've got epox, but i've had gigabite too and never had a problem with either.
My northbridge fan never worked right. It makes a ton of noise and I have to stop it with a pen whenever my computer starts. I have a pen balancing on top of my gpu sticking onto the fan so it doesn't rotate ^^

Why don't you unplug it? Or take it off the northbridge...I had a fan on my northbridge on my asus mobo, it didnt die but I did take it all all the time to clean the dust out.
