sorry to hear that dude i know how it feels but she is in a better place now so look to heaven smile and let the ones that go on do just that go on

I haven't had anybody close to me pass away so I don't know what it's like. I guess the closest was my cat.

Sorry to hear mate, grandmothers can be so peaceful and optimistic. May she rest in peace.

i have that same thing happen to me. i'll just wake up and think about that one person, and then find out something happened. happened the day my mom's only sister died, and the day my great grandmother died. just a weird sixth sense i guess.

thank you all for your kind words, they mean a lot to me. the wake for my grandmother was pretty good, i met a lot of new relatives and family friends. my grandmother was more popular than i gave her credit for! she was buried above my grandfather at calverton cemetary on long island (ny). it is a very nice veteran's cemetary. from there 20 members of my family went to a restaraunt called mamma lombardi's (i think). we ate lunch there and then went on our separate ways. oh, i was a pallbearer too.
on a different note, i am writing all of this with the nintendo ds opera browser. i like it.

I know how you feel. My grampa died of a sudden heart attack in may, and we had to fly all the way to Washington state from Virginia for the funeral.
