Hello all, It's Mister Beagle!!!
Well, Today marks the day that many of my fellow Linkin Park fans have been waiting for. Of course, It's the release date of Minutes to Midnight.
However, i was awestruck when i listened to the cd on Napster before i went out to buy it. This surely cannot be the same band that i saw at Projekt Revolution!, i thought. This is a really bad thing, REALLY BAD!!!
For those of you who aren't particularly up to date on Linkin Park, they center their music around powerful walls of distorted guitar, and that aspect was totally ripped from this album. I wouldn't advise any of the old-school Linkin Park fans to buy this CD, it is surely not going to appeal to you. Like the reviews i saw on the net, "for a music album, it's okay. For a Linkin Park album, it's attrocious."
I think this is the result of the abandonment of their fanbase, to sell more records and become more mainstream. I hope that one of them will stumble upon this comment, because i really want the old Linkin Park back.
