my speed is... 5xx mhz i think... either that or 6xx mhz.... 1 gig of it w/e it is works fine for me.... at least for 1.6
2x512 of DDR400. Couldn't tell you the brand without opening her up, but it's worked fine for the past 2.5 years.:P

Could be a multitude of things...Biggs have you tried sticking the ram back in to see if it goes slow again?
